Description

Always a ready supply of garlic flavoured, flat grass type, leaves as a perennial. Not so pungent in flavour as garlic clove but needs to be cut regularly. Has a delightful white flower, which also tastes of mild garlic.

A welcome palatable alternative to those who like garlic to accompany cheese and soups.

A herb, not a vegetable though related to the onion.

Recognised to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
