Our Feedback
Late July and I decided to replace a couple of plants in my flowerbed that are not earning their keep. I decided I want Fuchsias. I did a bit of research, decided on the variety I wanted and then tried to find some. Victoriana came up trumps and had the variety I was looking for, and offered reasonably priced mail order too. I was delighted when I received my plants. They are sturdy and bushy. They've been pinched back so there are lots of shoots. They were well packed and clearly were posted to avoid being in the post over the weekend in what was a very hot spell in July / August 2020. Arrived still moist and in fabulous condition. I am delighted with them. A teensy bit potbound, as to be expected at this time of year, but the lovely root system means I'm sure they'll get their roots out and grow on in no time. 100% satisfied customer; I would happily recommend Victoriana Nurseries to anyone wanting to buy a Fuchsia. These are the experts. Thank you!

Description

The picture herewith is of little Molly who was three years of age when she sowed these in April 2007. They flowered all summer and well into September with no attention whatsoever.

We now offer Molly's Seed Mixture as pre-started compost blocks - each block containing multiple mixed plants (approximately 8 - and as Molly and Milly will be sowing these that is approximate!). Plant into tubs or containers - or for a truly lovely display plant in a large drift.

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.

  • Carefully tease the plugs apart into roughly individual plants, and plant out approximately 4" x 4" (10cm x 10cm) apart.
  • Make sure you water thoroughly after planting out and until established.
  • Annual (although some varieties will self seed).
  • Flower from approximately June to first frosts.
  • Growing heights vary between specie - between 8" 20 cm) and 3 feet (90 cm).
