Description

These are truly astounding!

Individual flowers grow up to 10" - 12" (25 - 28 cm) across - yes as big as dinner plates! Flower colours include deep crimson-red, snow white with crimson centre, new dawn glowing pink, salmon with crimson overlay and like shades.

Individual blooms can be picked and floated in a dish like a huge water lily as a 'scene stealing' floral or table centre piece. These really are quite lovely - and easy to grow. Grow in the garden, in tubs or in the greenhouse.

  • Flowers August - September.
  • Grow to approximately 4 feet (120 cm) tall.
  • Thrive in a sheltered full sun position with a rich soil.
  • Plants grown in tubs or containers should be moved into protection to avoid winter frosts (plants conventionally planted in the ground will prove full hardy).
  • A good greenhouse and conservatory plant.
  • Plant 2 feet (60 cm) apart.
