Our Feedback
The above order has just arrived. All the plants are in very good condition-Thank you. I have, over the years, become used to plants arriving badly damaged from other suppliers, generally because they were not packed properly-these were packed very well. Again thank you.

Description

A favourite in Victorian times for both cool conservatories and terrace urns alike.

Rich, green strap-like evergreen foliage slowly creeps across the ground. Come midsummer, arching spikes of rich blue (or on rare occasions white) flowers appear. A most attractive plant that willd need protection in the event of severe frost. A lovely thing in every way.

  • Flowers late summer.
  • Grows to approximately 12" (30cm) tall.
  • Flower spikes rise to approximately 4ft (120cm) tall.
  • Thrives in full sun.
  • Happy in most soil types including poorer soils.
  • Plant 3ft (90cm) or more apart as these will spread, albeit slowly.
