Description

Fuchsia 'Chang' has single, medium flowers that will really brighten up a dull garden. The tube and sepals are orange red tipped with green while the corolla is a brilliant orange. This fuchsia is free flowering so there'll be plenty of colour in your garden Fuchsia 'Chang' has a vigorous, upright habit and is an ideal subject for a standard.

  • Plant out from late May all through the summer.
  • Hardy once established.
  • Suitable for potting on or, dependent on time of year, planting straight into the garden.
  • Late autumn garden planting should be avoided as the plants will not have time to establish before the winter.
  • If grown in containers and left outside all winter they may not prove fully hardy as container growing does not afford the same level of root protection as growing in the ground.
  • In severe winters additional protection may be required for plants in the ground or left outside in containers. We suggest covering the plant with straw then inverting a large pot or bucket over it to provide further protection.
