Description

A slow-growing, upright shrub-like conifer. Young foliage has yellow tips to its otherwise green-grey feathery appearance. Has a fruity scent when crushed. It is best grown as a focal point in your garden or as a hedge, but in a sheltered spot from winds.

Please note that the foliage may cause skin irritation and rashes.

As with all the Lawson cypress varieties the seed originates from Oregon and Califonia, USA and was sent to Lawson Nursery near Edinburgh in 1854 where these varieties were bred.

  • Prefers a sheltered spot.
  • Likes a sunny position.
