Perfect for home growers who want to spread their harvest so they don't have all their lettuces ready to eat on one day! Not so useful for the commercial grower who wants to clear his crop all at once!

Our blend of distinct varieties includes old fashioned Buttercrunch types, so called Iceberg or the crisp traditional Webbs Wonderful, Cos, Loose Leafed, Red Lettuce and Batavian types. You will receive a mixed selection of varieties which will vary on the quantity of plants you buy (so you will not receive the full mix if you only order 5 plants!)

With this blend your cropping will spread over 8-9 weeks, depending on how many your plant and how quickly you eat them!

Ideal for salad leaf production as you can keep picking the young leaves and leave the plants to produce more. You will like this selection.

• Plant outside after fear of frost, setting out 12" (30 cm) apart in rows 12" (30 cm).

• Top Tips
• Plant every 2 - 3 weeks to ensure a succession of lettuces throughout the Summer and early Autumn.
• Through the late Autumn and over-winter plants can still be planted outside, though will mature quicker if grown under protection.
