Description

Like a very small water lily leaf.

Also known as Yellow floating heart, dwarf water lily, Fringe, Fringed buckbean, Fringed water lily, Water fringe.

Flowers are bright buttercup yellow with an almond like scent. Very much under-rated.

  • Decidous perennials.
  • Likes a sunny position.
  • The pot grown plants we supply are suitable for ponds up to 3 feet (60 cm) deep;
  • For deeper ponds rootlets can be pulled from the pot and allowed to float semi-submerged.
  • Will tolerate slow moving water only.
  • Edible flowers.
  • Flowers July to September.
