Description

A blue heritage potato that is easy to grow, even if you've never done it before.

Originated from Scotland in the early 1900s and the stunning colour of this potato is what makes it so different from the 'normal potato', it even retains it's blue / purple colour when they are cooked, so can be most helpful in encouraging children to eat them or can make a real talking point at dinner parties!

Salad blue are good for mashing, chips, roast, jackets or even home-made crisps - but not salad potatoes as the name suggests!

The short, oval, blue/purple tubers contain natural anti-oxidants so are pretty good for you as well as tasting lovely.
