Description

This patty-pan type squash always performs well, producing a heavy crop of pale green fruits that are almost flat in appearance and scalloped at the edges. With a pleasant slightly crunchy texture and a lovely sweet flavour, these are perfect for using either raw or cooked.

Like all patty-pans, these are best harvested when around 2" (5 cm) in diameter - which will also have the side benefit of encouraging further fruiting. Compact and bushy in habit.

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
