Description

This new and improved white variety of strawberry is great for people who like to be different!

Bred by Klaus Olbricht at Hansabred, Dresden this variety is a vigorous grower with a good yield. The strawberries are medium sized, white flecked with red, with an aromatic unique flavour, almost like pineapple. Grow in the same way as a traditional strawberry.

Due to their colour the birds would appear to leave them alone (although we don't guarantee this!)

Superb in fruit salads or served with ice-cream or cream, or why not try making ice cream from them? A real talking point for dessert.

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.

  • Self-fertile.
  • Winter hardy.
  • Good disease resistance.
  • Ripening around June.
  • Reaches approximately 20" (50 cm) tall.
  • Plant 12" (30 cm) apart.
  • Like a sunny position.
