Description
Bred in the UK, this variety of Sweetcorn is perfect for the UK climate and perfect for growing your own popping corn!
You grow these in exactly the same way as you do conventional Sweetcorn; the difference comes at harvest time in that instead of harvesting to eat you harvest the cobs and dry them before popping the kernels to make your own popcorn.
Once dried the kernels will keep virtually indefinitely in an airtight container - that's assuming your children don't eat and pop them all!
Growing to around 8 feet (2.4 metres) tall, each plant will produce 3 - 4 cobs approximately 4" (10 cm) long.
