Our Feedback
Good morning Just wanted to say thank you for my recent order of 200 Heath Pearlwort. It arrived very quickly, exactly when you said it would, and well packaged. The plant quality was excellent, with all the plants having good root systems and looking very healthy. I don't normally write when I receive an order from a company, but felt that you really deserved it as I was very impressed by your nursery. Thank you

Description

Huge! Amaze your friends and family with these, not only are they giant size but they are delicious too!

A single slice from one of these can be large enough to cover a piece of bread - we've had them 'hanging' over the sides, gives a whole new meaning to a tomato sandwich!

Despite its novelty value, this is a truly delicious variety with sweet, dense, juicy flesh that is truly gorgeous grilled, fried or even pulped down for sauces and paste (freeze your surplus for Winter use). And of course these are fantastic for hollowing out and stuffing! So many uses from this one variety.

Beware you may need to offer extra support to your plant once these fruits start to grow!

This is the variety that holds the record for producing the world's largest tomato - a whopping 7 lb. 12 oz. (3 Kg) beauty grown by Gordon Graham of Edmond, Oklahoma, and listed in the Guinness Book of World Records.

  • This is an indeterminate variety and best grown as a cordon (vine).
  • Support of the developing crop with strings, canes or similar will be essential!
  • For best yields stop at 3rd or 4th truss if growing under protection (2nd or 3rd outside).
  • Whilst the best crops will be grown under protection, this variety can also be grown outside.
