An excellent variety of tomato to grow if you have poor soil, or if we have a poor Summer!

It was one of the most widely grown open pollinated varieties during1950's and 1960's because it hasexcellent uniformity and colour of the fruit as well as being able to cope with poorer soils.

Money Maker is a very reliable variety, producing fruits as a tomato plant should, bright red, rounded and billiard ball sized and have a good flavour!

In our opinion a very well named variety - as over the years it has made a lot of money for both semi-professional and commercial growers alike since it was originally introduced by that, now lost in history. Bred by Mr Fred Stonor of Stoners Nursery, Sarisbury Green near Southampton and now believed to be grown world wide (we had a lovely gentleman ring who used to live dow the road from the nursery in the 1930s and now grows this variety in Australia!)

• An indeterminate variety and best grown as a cordon (vine).
• For best yields stop at 5th truss if growing under protection (3rd outside).
• Whilst the best crops will be grown under protection, this variety can also be grown outside.
