Description

These pretty little flowers will cheer up your garden for years to come with it lovely golden edging to the flower. We offer a mix of colours including red, purple to black-brown colours, but they all have the unmistakable golden to silvery edge to them.

Polyanthus have a lot of history to them in the different forms and colours. The Gold Laced Polyanthus were particularly popular during the Victorian times and continue to be so, particularly here at the nursery.

An early flowering plant, usually one of the first to show itself after the snow, hence how it got it's name!

A really cheerful plant that is great for rock gardens, pots or planted straight in the ground.

Recognised to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.

  • Hardy perennial.
  • Prefers a sunny or partial shade position.
  • Reaches 8" (20cm) tall.
  • Prefer a well drained, but moist soil.
  • Do not let the roots dry out.
  • Flowers March - May.
