Description

This all Female variety produces an enormous crop of smooth skinned, mild flavoured, delicious cucumbers. From our own experience we have also found this to be 'burpless' - ie does not repeat on you or cause indigestion.

  • Can be grown on a straw bale, in a Growbag or the open ground.
  • Mildew resistant.
  • Primarily for growing under protection this variety will also fair well in a sheltered spot outside.
Being an all female variety, it is best to remove the male flowers (identified by not having a tiny fruit behind the flower). If male flowers are left on these may pollinate the flowers causing the fruits to become bitter to taste.

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
