Description

Ixia, or as they are commonly known, African Corn Lilies are beautiful and an exotic member of the iris family. This selection is offered as a mix of colours and will flower through June and July and loves a warm, sunny spot in your garden.

Can be planted into pots or into the ground.

  • Hardy.
  • Autumn planting.
  • Reach 14" - 20" (35 - 50 cm) tall.
  • Flower June - July.
  • Like a sunny position.
  • Prefer a sandy / free draining soil.
  • Plant 3 - 4" (7.5 - 10 cm) deep in the soil.
  • Can be grown in pots.

Other Uses

 

  • Makes a good cut flower.
