Our Feedback
I have just tried growing your Victorian colossal pea, with fantastic results. We have a small garden and my wife found these thinking we would get more for the same space as the 'normal' peas. Problem is they are so heavily laden with pods they are tearing from the support frame and I have had to tie them up with soft string. A problem that is very welcome. I have just sown more in the greenhouse to plant out for a later crop. I have also tried your coloured carrots but too soon to try, but I will be ordering more seeds and greater variety in the future. Best wishes

Broad Bean Seeds

Broad beans seeds are easy to grow and they are a really nice large seed so can be a really good first seed to grow with children or those with learning difficulties.  Our children grew them at school in a clear container with kitchen towel to keep them moist so they could watch how the seed grew it's roots, it really is quite facinating!

Broad beans are also very good for you, containing no saturated fat or cholesterol but lots of thiamin, vitamin K and B6, potassium, copper, selenium, zinc,  magnesium, iron and fibre as well as a good source of protein. More...

Broad beans can be eaten raw or cooked and are quite versatile, they are also quite hardy so are a good early and late crop.

We offer several varieties of broad bean seed for your to choose from and you can choose to buy online, over the phone or by post, we will then dispatch your order anywhere within the UK.
