Description

This delightful small acorn-shaped, dark green winter squash has lovely sweet flavour and bakes really well. Half a squash is perfect as a veg to accompany dinner, or why not use both sides and stuff with garlic and cheese to make a whole meal from it?

The plants have a compact habit so are great for those with smaller gardens. The squashes are usually around 4" (10 cm) in size.

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.

  • Winter squash.
  • Mildew resistant.
  • Sow approximately March-May.
  • Harvest September/October.
