NEIL MCCLUSKEY, hartlepool
Supplied as a packet of approx 18 seeds.
Available from - DiscontinuedSown from February to August you will produce very worthwhile Fuchsias with the same quality and strength of constitution as Fuchsias raised from cuttings. Even sowings in early May will produce large flowering plants late Summer.
Name your very own variety! This is the method by which all new Fuchsia varieties are derived. The seeds are carefully gathered from our wide range of fuchsias here at the nursery and mixed with a little sand (dust dry), this helps when you are sowing them as the seeds are quite small, then they are packeted for dispatch.
The flowers from fuchsias are edible, although it is recommended that you remove the green and brown 'bits' as well as the stamen to enhance their flavour.
Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
